Kids Hope USA

Kids Hope USA is a national mentoring program, established in 1995, that connects church volunteers with elementary school children. Each mentor works with one student that has been designated by school staff for one hour a week through the school year.

Through the KHUSA program, Allegan UMC has had a partnership with North Ward Elementary since 1995. During the 2007-2008 school year, 24 trained mentors have worked to make a difference and spread God's love through weekly visits with their Kids Hope USA child.

The students, the school and the church have all been greatly blessed by this ministry.
